I was originally going to go, but then I had to go to a demolition derby to support a friend that was in it (he came in 3rd).  That was fun, but I would have rather been with the horses and all of you!!  Your pictures turned out great.  Bailey is so beautiful!  Trav is adorable!  I can't believe that was his first time around horses, considering mom's horse fetish!  Thanks for posting the pictures! He's just never been interested!  Even when he was littler, the pony rides at the fair?  No big deal.  And the only reason he came with on Sunday was because we brought the 4 wheelers up.  Turns out, he had at LEAST as much fun with the animals!!  So maybe there's hope yet?! (and frankly, I LOVE demolition derbies!!!  Trailer trash that I am...  hehehe!!!)

I'm glad you're wooing him over to the animal side!  These kids nowadays!  If it's not attached to a video game or doesn't have batteries they just don't want it.  Don't know what they are missing! Trailer trash!  You are just too funny.  I'm so glad I'm so far out from surgery 'cuz you would have me in the hosp to get my stitches replaced all the time!

Great pictures.....Everybody looks like they had a good time.  And Bailey gets prettier every time I see a picture of her.  She is turning into such a gorgeous young woman....Trav -- what a heartbreaker he's gonna be -- very handsom!!!

No worries, Jodi!  The toe incident happened back in March, when I went riding with Bailey's Horse Science class.  I was a wee bit careless in the stall as I was turning my horse around to lead her out, and she got me.  I still love her - and even if one of your horses HAD stepped on me, it would have been MY fault, and I'd STILL love them!  I'm not sure a horse could do anything to make me not love 'em... Bailey downloaded the pictures last night, and she just added Sunday's shots to the "horsie" album I already had started in Picasa.  So for some reason, the new pictures inserted in the middle of the album - when Sunday's pictures ended, the toe shots picked back up!  (the middle toenail is still purple, and the toe looks like a sausage... not sure it'll ever look normal again, but it's a battle scar I can smile about!!) Oh - and as far as when are we goign to do it again?  NAME IT, GIRLFRIEND!  Seriously!  I'd come up all by my lonesome to help you or just enjoy the company of you & your horsies!!!   And of course, I'd have to bring more mints up for Roni & the others...   ... and Trav would have to come along, with his 4 wheeler, to ride with your boys...

Yup - the toes.  Just further confirmation as to why I will NOT wear any sandals that reveal my nekkid feet!  ugh...  You've seen my OTHER foot!  It's WORSE!!!  hehehe

Jodi, I'm with Darla, you name the time and I'll be there......And this time I won't chicken out...My hubby was so disappointed with me, he knew how bad I wanted to get on a horse again. I don't know why I got nervous???? And I kept thinking I was still that fat person, and the poor horse to have to carry me????/ Weird what tricks the brain plays on you......... It was an enjoyable day. And I went and bought those Turkey burgers yesterday, I really liked them at your place. Thanks for introducing them to us. Yumo........ Kelly
