I agree.  I wasn't prepared for the emotions after surgery.  Thank God for this board or I would have thought I was going crazy!

I was lucky to have gone to my parents for the 3 weeks after my surgery and they really helped to support me emotionally.  I also made sure I met with my psychiatrist every month.  I hope you are able to find some emotional balance!  ~Nicole

Just remember, Peach... you CAN blame a LOT of it on the hormones that are spilling as you lose fat!  It will stabilize,  There are a LOT of changes happening in a very short amount of time.  It WILL get better!!!  Just be sure to keep coming here, come to coffee, get the support you need!!!  It's here for the taking!

I couldn't agree with you more! I had no idea the head stuff after surgery would be as big as it was and still is.  I pray that you can find some peace through it all and that one day you can say that it was all worth it!

HEY PEACH!! This too shall end!   Your days as the Dragon Lady from the emotions going crazy are fairly limited!  ((Been there, done that...)) And I admire your skills in putting animation in your avatar, etc.  Your sense of humour is superb!~ ((HUGS)) **SUE**

It is crazy isn't it (no pun intended ) Thank goodness for all of the folks here. Just know you are not alone.  I think some of it is because (for me at least) my main coping mechanism, food, is no longer here so I am feeling my emotions rather than numbing myself to them with food. Hang in there it will get better.
