A much needed wow moment for me!!!

Today I ran into some people I knew way before surgery and they didn't know I had the surgery.  They were impressed and said it was nice to see me....half of me they said.  I didn't tell them about the surgery because of timing.  But even thou I have gained some of what I lost back it was really good to hear that people still see me as "half of me".  Seriously I don't think they recognized me at first until we started talking about the kids and the ex.    I still got it even tho I gained some!!!!  I'm so happy and feel soooooooo good!!!!!

Good for you Paula! I think that was a great WOW moment!  Even if you've gained some back, you deserve to be told how great you look!  Plus you're working hard to get back on track, so don't let the extra pounds discourage you at all.  You are doing a wonderful job!!!! Debi

Paula~I agree with Debi that, that is a great WOW moment.  You have done a lot of work and are working to get back to where you were so be proud of what you have done!

Way to go, Paula!   Now you just file this moment away in your "happy place", and recall it when  you feel yourself bumming out.  Dwell on the good moments like this, and maybe you'll recognize that there are more of them than you give yourself credit for!!!?!

YAY, Paula!   What an awesome WOW!! Don't focus on the weight gained back.  Meds can do that, and the weight doesn't have to be permanent. I admire you greatly, Paula, for the hard work you are doing on yourself. You are an inspiration!  (((HUGS))) **SUE**
