I just wanted to say thanks so much for being here for me! I never thought I'd have so much support on this journey if you guys weren't here.
I honestly don't have more than a few close friends and 3 family members living in the U.S., so getting such a big group of loving people right away is just a BLESSING. I feel like I have a life.... I have always had such a hard time relating to people my age (probably because I don't drin****il I can't feel every weekend)... and it's so nice that you gals and guys took me -- the youngin' -- in and made me feel like I have been here for YEARS!!

Thank You for being here for us........You are such a nice person and I look forward to getting to know you better. It's great that your sharing your journey through your you-tube, It will really help out those people that are thinking or doing the lap band. I can't wait to watch you melt, I think you are beautiful now, but look out guy's in a couple months..........

Well I just think you're a fantastic young lady ( and I can't TELL you how ancient it makes me feel to even SAY that!!! ), and I'm so grateful to YOU for joining us! You've already added so much to this community, and I have to tell you how impressed I am that you make the effort to get to PNC, to get to coffees, to take a very active role in this journey you've chosen! You are a sweet, sweet person and it really IS going to be a thrill watching you shrink!
Kelly's "I knew Elena when..." comment reminds me of my manager - he grew up and graduated from High School with Harry someone, an anchor on one of the national morning news programs. A few weeks ago, they were doing a week-long feature on prom, and my manager was flown to NYC by CBS producers to take part in a surprise reunion for this Harry guy! It was pretty cool!
The moral of this story? REMEMBER GOOD OL' DARLA IN 25 YEARS WHEN YOU'RE AN ANCHOR ON A NATIONAL NEWS PROGRAM!!! hehehe... that's about the ONLY way I'd ever take my fanny to NYC...
