Good Wednesday morning everyone!  It's time to rise and shine.  A new day is here and what a day it's going to be.  Don't cha just feel great today? Our challenge today is to get physical.  We had WLS to lose weight or we are planning to have WLS to get thinner and healthier.  Getting thinner isn't all there is to it though.  There IS a physical part about it too.  If we will get physical and excercise, we will see inches fall off.  I did something last night that I haven't done in 10 years.  It is a WOW moment for me I guess.  I walked 1 1/2 miles!  I had to stop a couple of times due to the poor circulation in my legs, but I made it!  Afterwards, I felt so good about myself.  If we will all get physical and MOVE to LOSE, we will feel better, look better, and eventually see the inches fall off.  So let's get physical today!  I plan to walk again tomorrow night taking it slow but I sure am excited that I could do it.  What cha sippin' on?  I'm enjoying some wonderful Bananas Foster Float Coffee this morning.  It sure i****ting the spot!   Ya'll have an awesome physical Wednesday!

Good morning! This challenge hit right home with me!  I've been out walking lately - put on something comfy, grab my headphones and mp3 player and away I go!  I can't believe how much easier it is to walk with the music going  :)  I click through the songs until I find one that matches my pace and just march along to it  :) Congrats on getting out and getting physical! Got good Columbian mixed with SF chocolate syrup and a bit of creamer...  mmm  :)

Congrats on walking that 1 1/2 miles!  That had to have felt so good!  I am hoping to get out before the support group meeting tonight to do a walk/run for at least 45 minutes, possibly an hour.  On Saturday night I went with my mom and sister to the track for a walk and found I couldn't walk with them...they were too slow!  So I kept up my own pace and then ran for a lap (1/4 mile) fast walk for a lap and alternated until they said they were done.  I did join them for the cool down lap, but boy was I proud of myself!  This is the first time ever that I have been in better shape than one of my siblings!  I agree that a big part of WLS is getting healthy, and while loosing weight does help some we really need to get our bodies in shape to take the full advantage of our tool!  I hope you are able to get out there and enjoy yourself another walk.  Oh, I am sipping some filtered water with lemon (it has become my new drink of choice).

I SO want and need to get better about doing some kind of formal exercise!  I do a lot of walking, some biking, and a lot more house work than I used to, but I need to kick myself in the boo-tay to get going with something of a more structured nature to tighten up - well, the things that need tightening up!
