OT: Breast Cancer 3-Day (Again)!
Because I love to get up at 5 am and work hard all day, this September I'll be serving as a crew member for the 3-Day, giving my all in service to the walkers for three days. I walked the last two years and I will be walking again next year with my daughter Megan!
Breast Cancer 3-Day crew members have to be a little crazy. We work long hours and early mornings. Some lift hundreds of pounds of gear, some put on fairy wings and cheer on walkers until they lose their voices. That's crazy bold, and crazy beautiful.
All Breast Cancer 3-Day crew members have been challenged to get at least $300 in our fundraising accounts by June 11th. I have been collecting and crushing cans to make my own donation, but I need your help to meet this challenge. This event has become a huge part of my life over the last two years. This disease has been a part of my family for 40 years and that's one relationship I am happy to end and so I'm doing this - to do something bold about breast cancer.
