OT - Sunday, June 1st - BBQ/Horsey Day!! PLZ JOIN US!!!

A bunch of us are getting together at my house for a relaxing/fun/entertaining afternoon with 4 wheelers, horses, and of course great friends and BBQ food on Sunday, June 1st.  Starting at about 1 PM. Please feel free to bring the kids, 4 wheelers, food, chairs, treats for the horses and anything else that I may be forgetting LOL My kids ride their 4 wheelers in our yard or pasture (I only have 5 acres), they say it can be a bit boring, but my thoughts are it's better than NOTHING!! and they ask to ride them daily, so my thoughts again are it cant be that boring...LOL  So if you have 4 wheelers and want to bring them and come out and ride then please do so.  I have the chiropractor coming out for my show horse on Thursday, so by Sunday I think she will be ok to give some rides if anyone is interested.   I will be providing the meat for the grill...anyone else that is coming could you please list what you will be bringing so others can decide what they want to bring. I hope to see you at my house on Sunday, sounds like the weather may even be nice...YEA!!! ~Jodi~

Jodi, I'll bring carrots and apples for Zoie too. We have a horse down the road from us, his name is Shak, he is a big horse and he loves apples. Kelly

My kids and I are SOOOO looking forward to this!  We'll be bringing up our 4-wheelers - mine is a legal 2-seater, so I'll be HAPPY to give rides if your beautiful horsie isn't feeling up to it! I'm bringing cowboy beans and a SF jello salad!   And Horsie treats, of course!!!

I am looking forward to this too, lets just hope the weather cooperates with us and gives us a beautiful day!!! I am sure Zoie (my horse) will be able to give rides .... they all will love the attention!! Just a warning, the inside of my barn isnt fully done yet, still in the construction/remodeling phase.  One of my stall's isn't stained or finished yet...and my tack room is only sheet rocked, just seems like I run out of money and havent been able to fini**** up yet.   What should I cook for meet? I am thinking turkey burgers and should I get some hotdogs or brats for the kids??? ~Jodi~

I will be there and will bring veggies and dip!  I will hopefully also bring at least one if not more camp chairs.  I would like to bring some treats for the horsies, but I only ever remember feeding them sugar cubes and apples...Jodi is this what you give your horsies for a treat?  If not let me know what I could bring for a treat for them.  ~Nicole

I so can't wait to go.  I will be bringing water, ice, and crystal light. Turkey burgers sound good.  I am justing finishing up my second month.  The last I checked Turkey didn't agree with me, but I haven't tried again since the last time. Is there a chance of some chicken being cooked.
