Helga Update

Hey everyone.  I just wanted to let everyone know where I'm at right now.  Life has been hectic lately.  As some of you know I auditioned for a play and got in.  The play is called "Pirates of the Great Lakes" and is at Lyric Arts in Anoka.  If any of you would like to see it, information can be found at www.lyricarts.org.   We open this weekend, and the show runs for four weeks.  I would love it if you could come. In addition, I've auditioned for another play, and got a part in that.  Thouroughly Modern Millie, playing the part of her boss, Trevor Graydon.  This is a musical opening in mid July.  So while I am performing at "Pirates" I will be rehearsing at "Millie".  For a while my life will be in chaos. This is the reason that I missed group for the last couple of times.  Hopefully you will see that it's all worth it. Hope everyone is doing well on their journey.  I've been kind of stationary, but it's because of time constraints and I know that when this play thing is settled down a bit, I can get back to the gym and start it back on the way to weight loss.  At least it hasn't gone up.  YEAH!  Hope to see you all very soon. HELGA!!!!   You haven't forgotten us!!!  I'm just tickled to see your post - CONGRATS on getting those parts!  I'll check out the lyricarts site to see if I can make it to a show, that would be too fun!  I really enjoy live theater, although I don't get to go very often...  Whether or not I make it, may I just say - "BREAK A LEG!"  or wait - are you NOT supposed to say that?  Shoot...  well, take it if it's a good thing, leave it if it isn't! Would LOVE to see you again sometime, it's been WAY TOO LONG!  Once your life settles down, LET'S DO KARAOKE AGAIN!  hugs for you, my Scandahoovian pal!!!

Of course I haven't forgotten you guys.  Just when the director says jump, I'd better say how high?  Or else they'll replace me with a sofa....hehe.  Hope you can make it.

HELGA!!! ah, the theatre, the theatre....when those boards are a calling... way to go, i miss you at group but understand more than most. i am going to try and make it to a show.  i will make it known that i am there just for you... hang in there, if we build it-it will come off...the weight that is. we'll talk about you tomorrow night... barbara(glitter jugs)

I look forward to seeing any of you guys....um gals from group.  It would be a hoot to have a hollering session from my very own personal peanut gallery.  Then again.... maybe you'd prefer the hand puppet that is going to replace me.  Either way, looks to be a good time.

hmmm... perhaps GJ and I could make a date of it??
