Anyone else single notice increase in attention?

I went down to Rochester over the weekend for my sons graduation. Twice over the weekend I wa**** on... I'm blown away. One was by an old friend, who there has been 20 years of flirting going on. The other was a complete stranger... I'm not use to this kind of attention. I can honestly say I've had more attention in the last month then I have had in the last 20 plus years. Is it the change in weight, or change in attitude? Or maybe both? I'm just baffeled.!!!!!!

Yes.  It's happening to me too.  I think it's both the attitude and weight loss (although the men I meet didn't know me before wls).  I find that guys hold doors open and smile and are more friendly and will approach me now.   Guys that I've known for a long time, will hug me when I see them now!  I love the attention.  It's been a long time since men noticed me.  Enjoy the attention!!  You deserve it!

Trust me I am enjoying it!!! just don't know what to think of it. I also find the attention I am getting is from a little higher quality of guy also. This is a very good thing.

I'm getting more attention, but I've yet to get a date!  I'm hoping that'll happen.

I've dated one. Still am, but nothing serious. Having just gotten out of two serious relationships, I'm just enjoying the attention. In no hurry to strap down my new found freedom.

Baffeled in a very good way. More like entriqued I think. I'll take it. Now that I know I can choose who I want, not just who will have me.... helps a lot!!!!!!

I'm not single but I am noticing a bit more attention.  More guys opening the door for me.  I even had to pick up printer cartridges for work and the guy working there insisted on helping me carry the stuff out to my vehicle and then went back in and ran back out to give me his card. It was obvious he was flirting with me.  Guys didn't go out of their way like this before.  I am not looking because I'm happily married but it's still flattering. :) (((Hugs))) Michelle

I did notice that at my old apartment if there were two specific guys sittingout by the front door that they would open it for me and that at work I get a lot more people smiling and saying hi to me, but no real flirting going on.  I am like you though Diane, I am enjoying this new found freedom and getting to know who I am and being comfortable with myself.  But, hey if the right guy comes along and asks me out on a date I don't think I would say no.

It's like I've said before, it seems like the bigger we were the more invisable we were. The smaller we get, the more we are seen. Yep... no hurry, but the attention is great.
