Shopping for summer clothes!

Last night after work I headed over to the Clothes Mentor in Minnetonka to get myself some summer clothes because in a litle over a week I will be heading down to Kentucky where I know we will have warm weather!  I was brave and decided to grab a couple of 14s off the rack and try them on....they fit beautifully! I think the last time I wore a size 14 was over 16 years ago.  I picked up 3 pairs of capris two shorts and a really cute skirt. Then I went to Payless and bought two pairs of sandals.  I came home and tried on a couple of outfits and was amazed by what I saw in the mirror.  I am going to have my mom or sister take a couple of new pics this weekend and will update my avatar just as soon as possible.

Thank you!  I was just telling my mom earlier today that I don't know that I have ever felt this good!  It's like I was given a whole new life!  I LOVE WLS!

Thank you Debi!  I can not wait to be in size 12 since I bought a really cute skirt at a garage sale a couple of weeks ago that is a 12.  I am hoping to be able to go shopping for size 12s for my birthday present (my birthday is June 15th)!

Well, Nicole, I think you will probably be at the 12's by your birthday.  BTW, my birthday wish is to be at my goal weight of 140, and my birthday is June 10th!  YAY JUNE BIRTHDAYS!!!!  I hope to see you post you met that goal on or before your birthday.  I can guarantee I will meet mine probably before then (unless something happens and I start to gain or stall again).  This morning I was at 140.5!!  So close!! I went shopping yesterday and bought all size 8's, smalls and mediums.  I just can't believe it!  I can wear some smalls!  This morning before church I went to put on one of the new shirts and saw the tag said S.  I thought Oh no, I grabbed the wrong one.  I put it on and sure enough it fit!  I felt soooooo good all morning.  No one else knew, but I knew and that's all that mattered to me.

OH I love the Birthday ideas!  My birthday is August 21 and I hope to be at my goal by then.  That would be an awesome present for sure! Michelle
