Sue, Troy and Debbie
We are on day 4. How did your day 4 go? Only one more day to go!!
I'm struggling with hunger (but found out part of that is due to the prednisone the doc has me on for my nerve issue in my leg), but I've been plugging along and feel good about my progress so far. I'm hoping that at the end of this I can honestly say I have that carb monster until control AGAIN!!
I'm so thankful we have a tool like this 5day program to help us regain control when we have let ourselves get out of control.
Hugs to you all,
Debi
Good evening!
I have to admit that I have not followed the 5DPT to the letter, but have done pretty good for ME. I definitely have been hearing my pouch!
Today was the first day I actually had real hunger--'head hunger' is another thing altogether!
I can truthfully say that I am getting a handle on the carb monster!

Sharon,
Your weight loss has been great so far. If you are slowing down, it could just be your body trying to regroup, so to speak. You will go thru periods of slow weight loss and faster loss and even some stalls. As long as you are following your plan you will be fine. You just have to ride them out.
The 5DPT is a tool you can use to break the carb addiction, if you've been eating too many and can't do it on your own. The web address is www.5daypouchtest.com.
You are doing great! I wouldn't worry if I was you. What you are experiencing sounds normal based on how my weight loss has been. I'm just a couple months ahead of you. The period of no hunger and super fast weight loss is great, but does not last. That is why some people will regain the weight.
Take care,
Debi
