...Kinda! Well Tuesday evening I attended my Infomational Seminar finally, and turned in all my initial paperwork! So I feel like I have slowly started my journey I know it will be a long one and I have barely gotten my feet wet but...Oh and I started Chantix today too...wow! I can't believe after 18 years of smoking I am ready to really quit this time! But the chantix has me a little shakey or jittery!! Oh well! Well thanks for letting me share this exciting news!! I look forward to sharing more with all of you!

Congrats on starting on the journey of a lifetime!  Going to that seminar and turning the paperwork are both very big steps.  I know I thought about WLS surgery for quite a while before I did those things.  While it may seem like this will be along journey it is so worth it and hold on because it can be a bit bumpy with unexpected twists and turns.  Congrats also on quitting smoking!  My dad also used Chantix to help stop (something no one in my family throught could happen) and it made a huge difference (although he said beware you will have really wierd and crazy dreams).  I look forward to seeing you here more and helping out with any questions or concerns you might have.  Way to go on taking those steps to become a healthier person!  ~Nicole

I am so happy for you! I know the journey feels long... but when you get scheduled for surgery, the time starts to go so fast.... that you want it to slow down! LOL.
