11 Months Out & a New WOW Moment!
Hey y'all. I haven't really been posting over here much, but I just have to say that the group of you gals/guys are far more supportive than those on the regular RNY board. I appreciate that so very much, plus it's nice to know that we're all local and have that in common too.
Since going on a medical leave of absence from work on May 2nd for some orthopedic surgery, I have lost an additional fifteen pounds! Now my total is 135 lbs lost! It just completely blows my mind.
No one from work has seen me since I left--I think I may wear my new brushed cotton flamingo pink scrubs on my first day back.
I also now love capri pants, both to wear out in public and to sleep in. It's finally getting warmer around these parts, and as I haven't found any shorts that I like yet, I've been slumming around the house in my purple capri pajama pants. True, they are a size 26/28 and I now wear close to an 18/20 but I am having such a hard time getting rid of my "fat" clothes. Like the hooded sweatshirt I had on earlier... I've had that thing since my freshman year of high school, which was 18 years ago?! It's totally not in fashion(not sure if it was at the time I bought it either! LMAO) but is so comfortable. There is only one hole at the bottom where the strings that cinch the bottom together used to be. The actual sweatshirt material is all but gone, but... I love it!

Welcome.......This is a wondeful bunch of people. You should come to one of the many coffee get together's. They are Saturday mornings all over the place. Maple Grove, Eagan, Burnsville, St. Cloud, North Branch, etc.
Congrat's on your 135 pound loss, that is amazing. What a wonderful job you have done.
