Coffee Gatherings

5 days post op and the meds have finally worn off. I'm feeling pretty good. I get to eat some real food on Friday! Wooo Hoooo!  I know there are several groups that get together in different parts of the Metro area. Can someone  let me know when, where and what time some of them meet? I'd love to go.  Thanks,  wendy

Eagan coffee is every other weekend and it was last weekend so the next one will be May 31st.  I haven't been able to make it in awhile but hoping in two weeks to get over there. 

Where does this group meet? What time?

This weekend is Burnsville coffee I assume they are still meeting at the Panera at the Burnsville Mall.

What time does this group meet? Sat or Sun?

It meets every other aturday opposit of the Eagan meetings, this Saturday is the Burnsville weekend.  I try to get there by 9 or 9:30 some people are there by 8or 8:30.  This weekend will be a light crowd due to the holiday, so we are going to try to meet and walk in or out of the mall depending on the weather.  Keep checking back to see what the final decision is on where to meet and walk.  It will either be at the Panera outside the mall or at the Caribou inside the mall.

There is one at the Caribou across from Har Mar Mall this Saturday. (Roseville)

There is a Sat morning coffee group for anytype of WLS. Pre- or post-ops are invited. The meeting is 10-noon at the Starbucks in the Barnes & Noble next to Northtown Mall in Coon Rapids. There's lap band group that meets every Sunday night 6:30-8:30 at the Starbucks in the strip mall by Northtown Mall (across from Walgreens) in Coon Rapids. Both of these meetings are great for info and support.
