My program has me on "soft textured foods" and I was just looking to post my menu and see if there are any red flags? things I could add or do differently to help weight loss...

Things I am/can eat:
Yogurt (low fat, no sugar added)
Cottage Cheese (low fat, 1%)
Shredded Cheese
String Smoked Cheese
Refried Beans (LF)
Chicken (well chewed)
Salmon
Tuna w/ light mayo
SF pudding
SF popsicles
Skim Milk
SF Instant Carnation Bfast (yummers!)
Eggs (sorta, had this 1x and it went ok)
Mashed Potatoes (in small doses)
Veggies (cooked and well chewed)
Natural PB
Chili with lean hamburger (pureed)
Cream soups
Bannanas

I see my NUT for the first time this Friday and have to keep a 2-day food record so that should help. I will also be weighing myself for the FIRST time since surgery...I'm so anxious for that.
Honey, I think you're too early out to be that worried about weight loss. If you're only eating everything on that list, you definitely will lose weight. You're doing great! Keep it up!

I would keep the banana to a minimum if I was you. It's my favorite fruit but it doesn't always sit well and there is a bit too much sugar in them to make it a regular menu item for me

Stick to your plan and you will do great!! And try not to worry about the scale (easier said than done, I know)...tis an evil thing most of the time ..well, it CAN be.

Out of all that's on that list I probably eat Bannanas the least! I actually hate them but good source of potassium. I ate one this AM for the first time but only 1/4 of one in my yogurt.

I am not worried so much about weight loss at this stage but don't want to slow or screw anything up either. I am a bit impatient but I've dieted in the past enough to know it takes time to see and feel results.
