Me, thin?!? A few WOW moments
Today my ex, who I works in the same office as me came over to tell me an old friend said hello and wanted to know how I was doing. My ex told my friend that I was doing really well and was that I was really thin! I just about fell over. I guess it just goes to show how important perspective is because this friend and many others who I haven't seen in a long while only ever knew me when I was 250 or higher so I guess to them this would be thin. Another cool WOW moment was yesterday as my mom was helping me move she saw the background on my computer which is a picture of me 3 months before surgery and then the picture Darla took of me last month at coffee and she couldn't believe it she said "I just had to sit down and look at this it doesn't even look like the same person. You have to print this out and bring it with you to Kentucky." My family and I are going down to Kentucky in 2 weeks and I will see family I haven't seen in 12 or 13 years. I am planning on getting a new picture to put next to my before picture to bring with me since I have had several of you comment that I have changed since my last picture. I also have to share that my new apartment has a full length mirror and I took a look at myself as I was getting ready to go to work today and actually liked what I saw!
