I'm pampering myself!

And I DON'T mean diapers, just FYI....  The gals that went to the Lodge back at the end of March, all went together on a gift card to Simonson's Spa to thank me.  (Which I STILL say was NOT NECESSARY!)  But I decided I needed to use it sooner than later! So at 3pm today, I'm going in for a style cut (as opposed to GREAT CLIPS, where I USUALLY go...), and a facial!  Never had one of those...  I was toying with the idea of getting my nails done, I see so many of you with beautiful nails, but Tracy steered me towards the facial, saying it's MUCH more wonderful and relaxing! Then last night, me & my DD were butting heads over dumb stuff again, and I was probably hormonal on top of it all, so I needed a brief escape from the drama.  I left to go buy a big 'ol bag of Hazel food, but ended up at a nail salon instead!  WTF     Got the nails done, they look fabulous, and I've been enjoying the extra "click"ing on my keyboard today!   So guess what people?  Darla, of ALL people, is having a GIRLY-GIRL DAY!!!  THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO WENT IN ON THIS FABULOUS GIFT!!!

You go girly girl!!!!! It was great when I did it. Are you coming to coffee tomorrow to model it?

Enjoy!!  It feels wonderful!  I have a half hour massage certificate left from Christmas I want to use.  But didn't think my tummy would handle me laying on it that long.  I want to be able to fully enjoy it when I go.

You will have to take a pic showing off the new do and the nails and post it so we can see the girly-girl side of you! 

Have fun at the spa!  I need to do that to me someday too.  I have had, on  my Christmas list for about 3 years, a request for a gift certificate for a spa and for a massage - have I gotten EITHER of them?  NO....oh well, my family believes in more practical gifts, I guess.

WhoooHooo!  You enjoy being a girly-girl!  I have started being way more girly since I have lost weight, perhaps feeling a bit more attractive minus 90 pounds!  My little sister gave my mom a gift certificate for a spa near her for her birthday/mother's day and I am hoping to convinve her to use it sooner rather than later!  A spa day sounds nice, perhaps I may have to indulge myself soon too!  Have a great afternoon and please post some pics so we can the girly side of you!  ~Nicole

Thats so funny that you did that! I do the same thing ....if hubs ticks me off I'm at the salon for ANYTHING lol. last time it was a short cut and hilight. enjoy the clickety clack! you deserve it!

Hope it turned out and you enjoyed your day of pampering.  You deserve it.   I go to Simonson's in Anoka - they cut/color my hair and wax my eyebrows and stache. lol (((Hugs))) Michelle

You MUST post pics!!!  Those of us who can't make it to the coffee you attend want to see the new do!!  I laughed at the diaper comment.  You just always crack me up! Enjoy!! You deserve some ME time!!! Hope things start to improve with your daughter! Love, Debi
