I think I've heard it all now.....

How  absurd is this? Obesity is now a culprit in Global Warming![click here] "Obese and overweight people require more fuel to transport them and the food they eat..." On a side note, the brilliant side of the folks who make the schedule at Eden Prairie have determined that we need to see Star Wars again, and Liar Liar, which was rained out last summer.  Keep the dates open: August 15 and 16.  Liar Liar will be on the 15th and Return of the Jedi on the 16th.  However, it won't be at the amphetheater but Purgatory Park.  Other concerts will happen through out the summer, some are better than others, and I will be working probably about a third of them.  I'll keep you posted. Well, then it must have been a stick person who wrote that statement.  Anyone person contributes to global warming.....due to the fact everyone eats and needs transportation.  Hmmmm......!  Some people.  I don't even have anything else to say about it because it is so Ridiculous. Jennifer

That ranks right up there with when I was a young girl, hearing on the news that the powdered nacho cheese they use on doritios when eaten in large quantity's causes cancer....

I think the overweight and Obese get blamed for just about everything. But yet insurance company's fight paying for the surgrey.. go figure..

Okay I just really read the article... higher fuel prices?? Food shortages.... come on... give me a break. What about the bulimic person who eats and..... you know the rest... What about the buffet's where so much is wasted. What about thinner people ordering food, and throwing it all away.. and agriculture... and gasses..... wow..

Sometimes I think people just look for a scapegoat and they think that obese people won't stand up to them if they point the finger there so they do.  I agree with Diane it is funny how the obese are blamed for so many problems, yet the insurance companies don't seem to want to pay for a surgery that will save them tons in the long run. 

Nicole, are you planning on coming to coffee on Saturday? If so, would you mind bringing that book. I would kind of like to look thru it if you don't mind....

Unfortunately this Saturday I am at the Nutrition Program from 8 am until 5 pm so no coffee for me.   Perhaps next Saturday I will be able to make it to one.

Okay, well next saturday is my sons graduation in Rochester. So I won't be around.. but I bet we meet up soon!!!!
