OT: I got a JOB!!

So of you know I have been going to school in the evenings for Land Surveying.  I have been looking for an internship/job and yesterday I got an internship with the City of Minneapolis as an Engineering Intern!  I'm so excited.  I have been feeling pretty discouraged and frustrated the last few weeks because I have had several interviews but no job and money is extremely tight.  anyways,  just wanted to let everyone know I got a job! I have been hanging around my 130 lbs loss, not really losing any but I can tell things are shifting.  I want to lose another 40 lbs yet and I will get to work on that soon.  With this job and the nicer weather,  I will get a lot more walking in. Have a GREAT day everyone.

WaaaHoooo!  That is great news Jean!  I hope that things go well with the internship and if you like it perhaps it will turn into a full time job for you!

CONGRATULATIONS, JEAN!!!  I hope you waltz right through that internship into a job with the city!  We government employees will never get rich, or even a Turkey at Christmas, but there's a certain amount of security that a lot of people in private industry just don't have.  That's a valuable thing!

Congrats Jean!  Glad to hear that things are moving in the right direction with you Career now.  Maybe with that stress out of the way things will move in the right direction with your weight too!  Keep up the good work honey - you're looking great.  However, I'm quite sure that you need an updated avatar - that one is from when you were in Eagan and that was forever ago!  Come on honey I wanna see the new you!
