Way to go Amy. As I was waiting to be wheeled into surgery I started to freak a little bit (normal). I said to myself...you've done the homework, you checked it all out ahead of time, don't let your mind take you off track. It really helped to know that I was doing the right thing. You are so prepared. I can't wait for you to join the club and to watch your journey.

YAY Amy!!!!!!! I have BCBSMN too and my stuff was faxed to them on Thurs and I got my approval letter on Monday so they are really fast! I am so excited you are almost there YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Awww, thank you all! Kris - only difference is our surgery types. BCBS doesn't like to approve DS surgeries for those with BMI's under 50 or 55 (I can't believe I'm drawing a blank...), but I'm not there so I know it may be a denial first and then an appeal and then an approval, but I'm prepared for that. Thanks again everyone. I'm glad I can share this with all of you.
