Summer's Coming - What will you be doing?

What new and wonderful things are you looking forward to this coming summer?  What things will you be doing for the first time?  For me, it's going on amusement park rides  :)  Roger wants me on Wild Thing...  front car  I'm also looking forward to a two piece - scars and stretch marks be damned!  lol How about you?

Lori,     We plan on doing alot of Hiking, biking, camping, gardening, and boating.     At home I decided to have a huge garden this year, so I have all my plants started........So I will be busy weeding this summer. I also am a flower garden nut.......I love my flowers......So will be busy taking care of that also. Kelly

THRILL RIDES, BABY!!!  I so love rides!  Hate the lines, but love the rides!  We're going to Valleyfair on June 7th for Travis' birthday!  Never did that for him before, 'cuz I knew I'd never get on the rides.  Plus, until last fall, he was a lil' chicken!  Now he wants to conquer them all!  Since we've let Bailey invite 3 friends for a day at Camp Snoopy a couple of times for HER birthday (in November), we figured it's only fair to let the little man do Valleyfair for HIS!! (Besides, now MAMA can ride!!!) As for ME and a two piece?  Honey, there ain't enough $$ in the Middle East...

Lori~I am planning on doing a lot of running/walking and hiking, but most of all playing outside with my nephews!  I am also really looking forward to the annual reunion the theatre department at the first college I attended has since only a few know I have had WLS but none of them have seen me in almost a year!  Oh, and the thing I am looking most forward to....not being constantly overheated!  I can't wait to bask in the warmth of the sunshine and not feel all sweaty and gross!  I'm not sure if the family will make it ValleyFair this year or not, but if we do you better believe I will be on all the rides I can stomach!

I'm looking forward to my surgery and recovery! I'm a teacher so I have three months after my surgery to focus on living a healthy life. I'm looking forward to CLOTHES shopping when the time is right!

Hi Lori.....I haven't got any major plans for the summer. I just look forward to being outside and being warm. It has been a long winter!! I hope to spend time having fun with my grandchildren of course!! Hugs, connie d

My hubby, children (3 boys) and I are going on our first big family vacation together to FLORIDA in 19 days!  Woohoo!   We'll be at a condo right on the ocean and I will be wearing a swimsuit - yes a swimsuit - for the first time in 11 years!  (since 1997! lol)  I will be able to fly in a plane comfortably withouth having to make sure my arms are scrunched in and not going into the next seat. :) I'm also going to Cali/Vegas in July - that involves lots of walking and I won't get out of breath.  I will be able to keep up - heck, they will have to keep up with me!  We are going on our annual camping trip with friends in August - 4th year in a row and first time in all the trips that I'll be swimming with everyone else and not sitting on the beach looking on feeling like I want to cry because I'm too embarrassed to participate. Taking the boys to Valleyfair and I won't be scrunched in the seat on the rides. I am looking forward to a Summer with more activity, more laughs, more confidence and more fun!  I can't wait! Oh my.  I'll have a WILD summer.  Where do I start... Today - took my LAST law school exam. Tomorrow - going to Las Vegas to celebrate!!! Graduation on Sunday Going to NY for a new england cruise on the Queen Mary 2 to celebrate with famiy next week. Then flying to Paris with a friend for a week.  First time in France! 3 days after I return, moving to Las Vegas! Then spend the rest of the summer getting settled, looking for a legal job, studying for the Bar...  Think I've got enough planned?? Erin
