Group Camping... *UPDATE*

The Baker Festival of Lights is an annual fall camping event - people go NUTS decorating their campsites with lights, inflatables, luminaries, yada yada yada - it's actually quite impressive!  And, it's a competition - there is a tram that takes people around the whole campground to judge which sites have the best decorations - electric, and non-electric.  And I THINK they even had a category for best lighted pet last year, didn't they?  I don't know, but it's fun! There are all kinds of special activites and such scheduled throughout the weekend - naturalist programs, bonfires, the climbing wall, facepainting, and a karaoke tent hosted by yours truly!   I don't have the date for CERTAIN, but I'm guessing it'll be either September 19 & 20, or the 26th & 27th.  I HOPE it's not the 27th, 'cuz I'll be in ALABAMA that weekend!

My husband and I are coming.  I just made my reservation for G22.  The only way we won't come is if his hours get changed at work.  Which is a possibility  Now to bring the dog or not!?  Should be pretty hot that time of year.

This sounds like fun!  I am going to talk to Hubby about joining you guys!  I was hoping it wasn't the next weekend.  We are off to see Poison that weekend.

Hey 'Nita!  What kind of doggie do you have??  We'll bring Hazel!   Do you have a camper, or will you be tenting? 

Might have to weasel in on you or Dana's campsites with me & my kidlets - if there aren't a lot more coming, I don't want to be over in A loop if these are the only 2 other sites in use! Time will tell... Who else wants in??

We have a Lahso Bischon cross.  Yep, whatever works.  We will be tenting it my family calls it a mini house.  You are welcome to share as long as we are still able to come.  Thought I would make the reservation now to be sure.  Hubby's work schedule might change by then and then we won't be able to make it.  Yep time will tell....

Okay, how's this?  I'll take (and pay for!) the other half of your site.  HOPEFULLY, you'll make it!   But if you don't, we'll reimburse you for the site.   So it's all good!! YAY!!!!

I was just thinking...funny thing to do.  What is stopping me from coming if he has to work.  I am sure someone would be nice enough to help me set up my tent and take it down.  Maybe a friend of mine would come with if he isn't able to go that has had the surgery.   Wow alot of thinking for this girl so early in the morning.

I would like to go.  I don't have a camper or a tent, but would be willing to pay my share if someone would share a place to lay my head?! Colleen

I'll share with you...I don't have a tent either, but I'm sure I can borrow my sisters.  Should we book our own site and see who else wants to share with us.
