Please forgive me for not mentioning a date. Been kinda having some senior moments these days and couldnt remember which days I requested off from TJ's.. Whose up for a little group camping trip the weekend of 7/11 & 12 at Baker Park on Lake Independence...?!?!

I have to talk to my hubby, see if he wants to go. We just bought a tent last summer. How far in advance would we need to book a space for our tent? Kelly

YAY!!! I can do that weekend!!! Break in the new swimsuit before heading to the Dells a week later!!! As for when to make reservations, the sooner - the better! Especially since that is the weekend after the 4th, so there very well may be some who stay from the 4th through the 13th! Weekends DO fill up, so I'll book a site once I know where Dana booked hers - each site is good for up to 2 "units" (one tent & one RV, or two tents...) and 6 campers. So if Dana and Randy are open to sharing their site with a tent, we could potentially do 2 sites with 4 units and 12 people. Or more, if there are enough peeps interested! The phone # to book a site is 763-559-6700. Dana, if you have your site booked already, let me know which one you've got and I'll get me one as nearby as I can! Think the pooches might get along a little better this time?

I SURE HOPE SO! **UPDATE** I just got the scoop from my friend in Reservations - the electric sites are just about full for that weekend, but there are plenty of non-electric sites.

Hey there Darla ~ I actual booked my sight before I finished reading your post.. We are reserved for H2 and would gladly share the sight with a tenter.. According to the gal at Three Rivers, the next closest sights for electric if you prefer is G22 or G23.. LOTS of non electric available..

I'm thinking maybe I'll wait for a bit and see how many others want in - I'd book G22 or 23, but we'll just be in a tent - I hate to be completely surrounded by campers! So we'll either share your site, or if there are enough people interested and the G loop is full, we'll go to A loop - TOO BAD you couldn't have gotten H2 for the Festival last fall, we'd have been right across the road from ya! (We'll have to book that one a little bit earlier this time, eh?
