What did you do for Mother's Day...

Hi...I had a wonderful Mothers Day!! I went down to South St. Paul to mydaughters house.I took time with each grandchild individually. Privately and all alone. We sat outside and just enjoyed our time together. I also spent time alone with my daughter. That was so awesome!!! We talked about so many things and just had a great time. then we all spent the rest of the day together playing games and having fun. Hugs, connie d
I slept in 'til 9:30, lazed around until noon or so (okay, I admi****ching FOOD PORN), and then came down to clean up the kitchen. We just got our new stove installed yesterday, so Rich made me breakfast and brought it up to me in bed. Trav gave me a card that made me cry.
After noon, me & Bailey picked up my mom, stopped at Bed, Bath & Beyond to get Bailey some new pillows, stopped at my favorite, Dunn Bros, to get a latte, then came home. Hazel gave my mother an atomic face wash for the better part of 20 minutes, we admired the lilacs & such in the yard, then cooked dinner (steaks on the grill with sautee'd shrooms, shrimp in garlic butter, asparagus - and strawberry shortcake for dessert! I did have some, but didn't dump. )
Then me & Trav drove my mom home @ 8:30, and here I am, checking my email and OH posts! NICE DAY!!!
Hope you all had a FANTASTIC DAY, regardless of your status as a mother or a person who has a mother... (Rich has a mother, but we don't admit it often...)
