HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
Happy Mother's Day to everyone out there! 
It's a big weekend for me, yesterday was my 3 year WLS anniversary and today is Mother's Day and our wedding anniversary! 
I got mixed emotions about becoming an empty nester this weekend too.

I almost think dad is taking it harder than me! She called on her way to work to wish me a Happy Mother's Day even though she already gave me my gift yesterday.

Happy Mommy day, and Surgiversery, and Anniversary!!! I totally forgot yesterday was the 10th until I got to coffee and BarbK wished me a happy 3rd!! wow, its been 3 years for us. I see BarbJ on Tuesday for the yearly check.
I missed you yesterday, but hey, it was a small group!

Happy Mother's Day too.
As a former empty nester, let me share my experience....My son went off to boot camp then my daughter moved out. I moaned and groaned and was lonely and sad. Then one morning I woke up and got a life. Now they are both back and my new life is suffering and I get mad at them for keeping me back! LOL!! I miss the quiet and can't wait for them both to move out again. Don't get me wrong...I love them with all my heart, but mom wants a life too!!

The older ones have never come back since moving out, and I don't think they ever will. I still have the geriatric muttlett and the youngest ones cat. They are already reaping the rewards of being the only kids left (4 legged or not). 
If any of the kids ever come back to live here I think it may be this one (the youngest) as her boyfriend got his deployment papers and is supposed to go to Iraq in January. I think she will be very sad and lonely after he goes and may want to move home then. Oh, If I had a nickle for every time my kids told me to get a life!
