Stress complications?

I think that for me, like for many, this spring is a bit jumbled. The stress from everything is eating away and me and causing me to not sleep properly and as far as eating...  I swear that regular oatmeal is too spicy sometimes. A couple of things that are happening: * We have our local Renaissance Faire coming up in June and I"m trying to help out with that (actually a very fun good thing but still stressful!) * My daughter is due the weekend of said Ren Faire  lol * Her baby shower is this weekend * the dog rescue is doing well but all the dogs are putting a significant amount of stress on the house. And the biggie: * I guess I was under investigation by the Inspector General of the Postal System for possible work comp fraud.  The alligations came down to me making folding motions (I folded 3-4 pieces of fabric at last year's faire), walking, standing, eating too much, and I went to Valley Faire while recuperating from shoulder surgery... drifted down the lazy river in a tube, rode the tilt-a-whirl and ferris wheel, shaded my eyes from the sun, and adjusted my swim suit strap while in the water park (ok isn't it better to make sure one's boobs don't fall out in the kiddie pool than to worry about how many times I fix a strap?) ...  it's just plain ludicrious. I've never heard of being grounded while recuperating.  But due to these "charges" I"m being "let go" ... fired... what the hell???  *sigh*  I"m the only one who works in my family.. Hubby flat out refuses to work.. and no, he's not disabled or anything.  Just an ass.  I really need to lose another 200 male lbs.  I've been supporting my daughter while she's pregnant and her boyfriend is another dead beat..  I swear I need to kick some man ass around here!  So bills are piling up and I"m stressing out trying to figure out how I"m going to make it.  The other thing is that my daughter is on my health insurance...  and I"m not sure if I'll be able to keep it due to the strange cir****tances (I'll still be a postal employee but not working... we have an active grievance going.  I guess they can deny my unemployment and stuff because of it.) Life is going to be interesting. Thank... Needed to vent that to folks I trust. Big problem is that I'm now so sore that Pouchie is not very happy with whatever I eat.  I ended up coming home from work last night (OH!!  I also get to work for another 2 weeks - smiling and happy while I wait to get marched out of the building on the 24th.)  with sharp stomach pains.  I sat at the computer and ate some chicken soup and had a couple of saltines mushed up in it.  That stayed put and didn't hurt. I'm afraid that I'm hurting the pouch with all this stress... Thoughts?  ideas? suggestions? Thanks guys...

Lori,    So sorry your going through all of this.........It makes my life seem like a cake walk.......    Bummer with the Work Comp fraud.......Ya, they expect you to do nothing when your on it.    I hope everything turns out. Try to get in your water & protein, hopefully your pouch won't act up too much.    If I was going through all of this, I might need to go see my psycologist for an ear to vent to.    I will pray that everything turns out for you. Hang in there. Kelly

Lori....wow.... have you got a plate full!! My heart goes out to you. I will keep sending prayers your way that all turns out okay with the work comp thing. They don't expect you to do much that is for sure. As for your hubby tell him if he wants to eat to get off his butt and go do something to help!! I would have had him out the door and been down 200 pounds of male weight a long time ago. I don't put up with men like that!! This is just my opinion. Have a good day...or try too....hugs....connie d

Lori~Sending big hugs to you!  I do hope that you are able to win your grievance and get your job back, because it sounds like you are carrying your whole family right now (what a huge stress this must be no wonder your pouchie is stressed as well).  The one time I was on worker's comp all I did was stay home I didn't even go to class (I was also in college at the time) and they still questioned my daily activities up and down so yay when you are workers comp they want you stuck in bed the whole time...kinda stinks. I will send up prayers that everything will turn out for the best.  Love &Hugs! I'm so sorry you are going through this. There is nothing worse than being wrongfully accused of something...especially related to work and finances. I am also sorry that you have really unsupportive family members (well, at least hubby and daughter's deadbeat boyfriend)... is there any way to sit them down and explain to them that they NEED to work? That's  probably a far stretch. If your husband is living on your $, cut it off! I don't know..... that is really, really ridiculous. You deserve someone better....  and if he doesn't want to be that someone.... then maybe losing those 200lbs wouldn't  hurt. Always keep in mind that when one door closes, another  opens. That is SO SO SO hard to see sometimes but it's usually true in the end. Maybe this is the kick in the butt you needed to do the things you have  always wanted to....or  to make the new decisions that you always wanted to. In the meantime, find an inexpensive way to relax.... do  some meditation, go on a picnic by yourself....and meet up with people from the forum.... most of us can make you laugh at least!!

My two cents is you should move. If hubby daughtrs ex, want to stay living where they are, that is their business.

Seriously though, I am sorry you are going through all of this. It is true that when it rains it opours. Your sun will shine again. Keep your chin up.

Wow Hun- I am so sorry!  Be sure to get some rest, stress can tear up a "normal" tummy- I can imagine what it can do to our lil pouchies.  Perhaps check with your doctor, you wouldn't want to get an ulcer!

I can't believe they followed you around Valley Fair- wow! I know worker's comp can be anal about fraud but sometimes they go to extremes!

Best Wishes darlin on the fight and family and I will definately send up prayers!

Hugs!
