Revision of RNY due to Weight Gain
I am new to this site and have found it to be the only one with some answers since I have been searching the internet trying to find some answers as to...how a revision is done, who can do it, who has gone through it, and has any ones insurance covered such a surgery, plus so many more questions......
Here is my story.
In all honesty I cannot remember how many years it has been since I had my RNY surgery, but it has been more than 6 years and all was great until the last 2 years. With-in that time I was in a horrible accident and ended up having multiple surgeries one in which has cut a never for my taste bud on the left side of my tongue. So after that surgery I was been having some difficulty because I like the taste of food and texture and my weight has increased more than 60pounds in search of trying to taste what I was eating.
I am looking for someone to chat with that has gone through it and who has some insight as to what steps to take to go through it.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
