OT-Need prayers for student

Hi everyone.  I just got some news that a senior at the school here apparently drank some anti-freeze in an attempt to commit suicide.  He had stayed home from school yesterday and his mom came home and found him unconscious.  From what I understand his kidneys have shut down and he may not make it.  Ben (my son) doesn't understand why HE would have ever done this...he never seemed down or anything.  Graduation is next Friday.  Quite the shock, I've known this family for YEARS from being at the ArtBarn and my heart is just breaking for them.  Please pray that if it be God's will that he makes it through this without permanent damage and that the family be wrapped in God's loving arms. Thanks everyone.

That is just aweful.  I am so sad to hear of this and you know this family...I can't imagine the pain for family and friends.  Prayers are coming....please keep us informed on his situation.

I am so sorry to hear about this.  I will keep him, his family and your family in my prayers.  Unfortunately some people are really good at hiding their depression and so never get help and sadly end up in situations like this.  Sending up some extra special prayers!  Love & Hugs! Nicole

Absolutely, I will pray for him and his family. And for every other person out there contemplating such an act of desperation.  It doesn't have to be that way...
