I never believed this surgery would be so easy.  I know it is only my first day but I feel wonderful!  I have hardly any pain.  Feels like gas.  I have been up and walking already last night.  Walked a few times in the night.  It feels so right.  I want to thank all you wonderful people here on this board.  Especially Marsha for being my angel and posting for me.  I have met so many wonderful people in the start of my journey.  Others are such an inspiration to me and helped me see why I needed to do this for myself.  On Monday night Tracy handed me this stone with the word Believe on it to thumb when I am having a tough time.  Well the word believe is going to be my next tattoo as soon as my husband will let me get it.  I want it on the inside of my right ankle so I can see it when I am wearing shorts or capris.  Well my husband is here bugging me telling me to get up and start walking.  Thank you and love to all that have been here to support me through this!

Anita, Welcome to Losersville!!! I am so happy to hear everything went well for you and it feels right, as you said!!! That is a great thing for all the newbies to hear!! You are gonna do a wonderful job and I can hardly wait for the rest of your journey!!  The stone is a wonderful thing to have. it sounds like the 'gratitude rocks' I have been known to pass those out from time to time. Remember, when you are rubbing the stone, to stop and give thanks for something or someone in your life. Gratitude is the best thing to get you out of a tough time!!  Glad to hear all is well, and remember, keep walkin and sippin!!!  CarolN
