Some perspective

Wow, I am truly overwhelmed by all of your compassionate responses - thank you from the bottom of my heart.   I am still rather numb, but it's over now, and time to move on and live. What I find hardest to understand is that no one ever mentioned anything related to the fact that this was the ultimate act of depression.  It's as though there is such shame, when there SHOULDN'T be.  I guess I just think something like this would be the perfect opportunity to reach out and tell people to seek reasons to LIVE!  That  Kate's life - NOT her death - should be held up as a shining example of how to appreciate everything there is, and to continue to seek those moments that make life so amazing.   Then again, this wasn't my family member, not my funeral to plan and live with for the rest of my life.  Sorry, I'm rambling.  I do that. I pray that all of YOU will look at your life as a glass at LEAST half full!  Don't let fear prevent you from doing things you want to do, and don't let depression overcome you.  No matter how crappy we all can feel over various things that happen in our lives, there is ALWAYS someone going through something worse.  Which shouldn't make us happy, but it SHOULD help bring some perspective to our own personal issues. Love to you all
