OT: Baby Shower Games

Hey everyone! I am throwing a baby shower for a couple of girls at work this weekend.  So, I have been trying to find a couple of fun games to play.  Anyone have any unique ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks...y'all rock!

I went to a shower last weekend and they had a really fun game.  There was a bunch of stuff you would buy for a baby. Cereal, a rattle, wipes, diapers, booties etc.  Everyone got a piece of paper and you had to write your name on it and how much you thought all of the stuff cost.  They wouldn't tell you what store it was from.  Whoever was the closest without going over was the winner.  They gave prizes to the closest five or so...then the woman who was the very closest got a grocery bag with all of the "stuff" in it.  She got the reciept so she could take it all back or give it to the showeree...but she was pregnant too so she kept it.  It cost will $16.37 or something.  It was different and entertaining for us who's babies are now in their 20's.  We also played pictionary on teams where we had to drawer baby stuff.

Jeanne, I went to a baby shower and they had each diaper filled with smashed chocolate bars, they were marked 1-5, and we had to guess what kind of choc. bar was in each one. Whoever guessed the most right won.......... Kelly

The baby food game is always a hit.  Buy baby food and take the labels off and then pass the jars around and have people taste them then write down what they think it is and the person with the most correct gets a prize

Word scrabble,  Take words (related to baby items) and mix up the words and within a time frame they have to unscrabble the words, winner is who has the most words correct.

 Questions about mom,  Write down a bunch of questions about mom and see who gets the most correct and that person wins the prize (favorit color, eye color, shoes she wearing, year she graduated)

 Price game; buy things mom will need when baby comes and have people write down the price and whoever is closet to the actual price wins. (diapers, wipes, shampoo, finger nail clipper, socks, formula)

Baby food...that is a good idea!  I should get some of the ham one.  I remember  that one being G-R-O-S-S!  I could barely feed it to Dillon!  LOL. You have a ton....you must have thrown a shower or two! Thanks.

Take large safety pins fold over pieces of pink and blue cloth to look like diapers.  Every guest gets one "diaper".  If someone hears you say the word baby that person gets to take your diaper.  The person at the end of the shower or after a certain amount of time wins the prize.   I know there are some good sites with baby shower games.  There is one also with candy bars but don't remember what it is.

I bet it is tough to not say baby at a baby shower!  That is a good one! Thanks!
