Starting April 4th I have been trying to loose some weight b4 I see my sergeion. I have lost a total of 21 pounds. I should have gotten my "monthly" right around April 7th or 8th. Still nothing.....so I'm wondering if the weight loss had anything to do with that?

I have had issues since surgery, the nurse said loosing weight can effect your period. I got mine 2 times in one month. Then I was late the next month. Some people have had it for 17 days!!!!!! Good luck. Kelly

Losing weight didn't affect my period. Having a hysterectomy sure did, tho!      (sorry, I HAD to!!) I don't want to ask the obvious question, but - could you POSSIBLY be pregnant?

I have an IUD so I am not sure if it has affected mine, but I have heard other people say that it has totally thrown there cycle out of whack!  So yes loosing weight does affect it, I believe the reasoning behind it is that there are hormones stored in your fat cells as as you loose weight they are released into your system throwing everything off.  Hope this helps!

That does make me feel a little better....It's not that I miss it, heck I'd be happy if it never came back...lol

Thinking back, I think I missed a month at first but now its back like clockwork.  I know exactly what day its coming.  I did have really bad cramps the first few months but now Im back to normal!

My period has gotten better. It could be more stress related.

haha, ME have stress??? Oh my hell....we are moving, we are about 300.00$ over drawn, I owe money to several people right now, 3 out of 5 kids are sick, my truck broke, I think my best friend stole my wedding ring, my utulity's are to be dissconnected tomorow and I can't transfer them to my new address because I can't pay the bill, ummm I could go on and on. Besides all this I am trying to loose weight so I can't eat chocolate to deal with the stress. So yeah your prolly right, it could very well be stress related....
