Darla Dear! You have changed so much.  Notice how in the first picture, you take up the whole door and in the current photo, 2 of you could stand side by side! You look wonderful!!!!!! Debi

Thanks, everyone - you are all so sweet, so supportive, so... so..... SEXY!!!   I just can't get over this comparison myself.  Yes, Lori, there IS air between my legs!   I'm really  not sure what I enjoy the most, as far as the physical changes are concerned - being able to see the veins & stuff in my hands?  walking without any friction between my thighs?  feeling the bones in my shoulder area & back?   the tendons and such in my legs?   These are ALL things that truly never occured to me before WLS!   (well, okay, the collarbone thing did...)   I did it because I believed I was doomed to die young.  And then I realized that was just STUPID, to accept an early death as my fate!  I wanted to get healthy, so I'd live long enough to be a fun old granny some day!  (Not for at least 9 years, Bailey!)   So for any pre-ops out there, DARE TO DREAM!   Think about this kind of stuff, 'cuz it can only help you be more successful with your tool!    This whole deal ROCKS!!!

You are doing great!!!! I am not diabetic, but can identify with the premature death thing. Thats the same reason I made the leap. You go girl. This tool of ours keeps working even after the first year, aren't we glad!!!!

I am not short... I am fun sized!!
