I need advice & help & maybe a kick in the butt
Michelle,
Thank You for the kind words........I'm just an impatient person, and I know I've been eating too much. I did call the nurse, I need to get in more protein, either in food or powder to help me feel full and not over eat on the bad stuff.
Your right 4 months ago I was huge........I'm happy with the weight loss and happy how I look and how I feel. I always want more..........
Thanks again, Kelly

I hear ya on being impatient. I really thought I'd be at goal by now, but I'm not and I just decided I know I'm doing what I'm supposed to and it will come off.
Out of curiosity, I plugged your food into Sparkpeople to get a guestimate of the calories and protein you put in. It came up to just shy of 800 calories for the day, PLUS you exercised twice. 57 grams of protein was your total there. Yes, probably up your protein intake definitely if you are hungry but 800 calories is not anything to be ashamed of when you are combining exercise in the mix when you consider a "normal non-surgery person" on a diet is recommended to take in 1200 to 1500 per day to lose weight. That is a 400 deficit from their minimum requirement. The biggest flaw I personally see is the pizza (probably not a good idea right now) and even more so the water intake. If you are exercising 2x daily you have to make sure you get tha****er in. I do my treadmill 45 -60 minutes (5 to 6x per week) and I drink nearly 3 16oz bottles of water just while I'm doing the treadmill.
But, I agree that eating carbs instead of protein can cause you to be more hungry. Try mixing up your proten - I like to make a chicken fajita in a low carb wrap. That's my new favorite dinner. :) Buy cookbooks and mix things up and make it fun so things dont seem so monotonous.
Good luck!
Kelly~I agree with Sandie that this month might be the month you loose inches more than pounds, I know month 4 that was the case for me, but now I am back to loosing again. Be patient with yourself and maybe see if you can get in and talk to your doc, nurse or dietician about the issues you are having and see what they have to say about it all. One idea if you find you are struggeling to get in all of your protien is to find snacks that are high in protien like Soy Crisps, edemame (soy beans) or almonds. I have found these things tasty and filling ( I eat way fewer Soy Crisps than I would regular chips) plus soy has calcium, which I am assuming you may not get a lot og being that you are lactose intolerant. I hope this helps and that you are able to get things figured out. Just remember to acknowldege what you have accomplished, because you look abo****ely wonderful!
Love & Hugs,
Nicole
Nicole,
Paitence isn't a quality I have. I have to learn that too........
I'm calling the nurse tomorrow. I'm eating too much, I know that, but how do I satisfy myself? More protein I'm sure............
I went to cub and bought veggies, fruit, yogurt, granola, soy snacks. We'll see if that helps.
Thank you, Kelly

Remember, eat your protein first! That will help the stomach feel satisfied. The head hunger I can't help with. I took up knitting to keep my hands busy. But whatever will work for you just to keep busy.
And, like everyone else said..... Only 4 lbs???? You are slowing down and gaining muscle. Don't be hard on yourself. You need a Kelly Hug!!!! :)
So I'm sending you hugs and a kick in the pants!
KA
KellyAnn,
I hope I'm not disappointing you, my check in buddy.........I try and eat my protein first, I think I better tell hubby No more pizza or potatoes...........
Thanks, I needed a Kelly hug and a kick in the butt.
I bought some good food at cub for when I'm hungry, we'll see if it will help. I'm also calling the nurse.
Kelly
Hi Kelly,
I agree with what everybody else said.
One thing that stands out to me is that you had hash browns & pizza, could these carbs be making you hungry for more food? I'm new to this, but carbs really scare me ~ my huge problem pre-WLS.
I think you are doing fantastic!!
