3 year checkup with Miss Barb
Hi All,
Since I am having problems with fingers going numb, it was suggested (ordered) by Miss Barb to do my 3 year checkup. OMG has it really been that long??? Surgery was June 22, 2005!
Here are the numbers:
Beginning weight 296
yesterday 175.5
total loss 120.6 pounds
7 inches off waist
15 inches off my hips
BMI WAS 46.4
BMI IS 27.5
Barb says I am NORMAL!!!! Well as normal as I can be hehehe.
The only thing I can say is Thank God for this surgery. I can keep up with Princess Nemi, have worked that last year solid and never felt out of breath, physically challenged or that I could not handle the physical aspects of this job. In stead of driving or being picked up to get from one side of campus to the other I walk, by choice!!
Laura at Synico, you are fantastic for getting me into this position and keeping me sane as the move from building to building got closer.
You have all been so helpful, understanding cheerleaders, huggers, dreamers and we are all walking the same path together.
Thank You all for your help, kicks in the arse along the way,
Karen

session at a time is all I can do, multitasking is a fine art that I am still trying to master.

It's so awesome to have people who are further out post here, their issues, their excitement, their success! It just shows the rest of us that this can and WILL WORK long term if we just keep it at the forefront!
Congrats on your success, Karen - that is definitely something to be proud and excited about! Hope the numbness is nothing serious.. did you talk about the possiblity of carpal tunnel? I've had that. It's wierd...
