4-30 Today I will...
Today I will
- take my vitamins and drink my water
- work on getting my job back - using cool determination, not blazing anger
- get some exercise in
Yesterday I was successful at
- take all my vitamins and drink WATER (not so much coffee)
got all the vitamins in but it's not habit yet
drank about 54oz of water
- make the right choices even in the face of what feels like overwhelming stress
I did pretty good here. I did have a piece of SF orange bread as a treat but it was a *treat* so don't need to feel guilty about it. I was also out running from doctor to doctor before I lose my insurance so had lunch at Taco Johns. I ate a 2 piece Mexi-roll. meat. cheese, and beans wrapped in tortilla with nacho cheese to dip in. It was ok and just enough to fill me up.
- play with the puppies and have some pure ENJOYMENT time for ME because *I* deserve it!
I didn't get time to play with the puppies because I was too busy working on the grievance for work. I did however take 30 minutes and play WoW... so I did get some relax time in. now if the sun would just SHINE!! lol
An added bonus! I weighed in at 197.2lbs this morning. That is my 100lb goal for 6 months out. I had surgery on October 30th so today is actually my 6 month anniversary so I MADE IT!!!! I couldn't have done it without the love and encouragement from every one here!!

Today I will...drink 100 ounces of water, take all of my calcium, be midful and fully participate in yoga, walk/jog around Lake Calhoun, be mindful of my eating.
Yesterday I....got in 92 ounces of water, took all of my calcium and tried all of the yoga poses w/out modification and actually got into crow pose (arm balance)!
Thank you! I really enjoy yoga, but it took me a while to find a type that would give me a good workout as well as the relaxing aspect of it. I do what is called Power Vinyasa which is a series of different poses that all flow together so you are moving a lot more than other types of yoga where the emphasis is more on holding the pose. I feel like I get a good workout from my yoga classes and it helps with building muscle because you are supporting your body weight in different areas and has also helped my flexibility. I find the relaxtaion part an extra added bonus and am trying to focus more on being mindful both in yoga and when I eat because I have found that when I concentrate on what I am doing I eat less. I know that there are some good yoga videos available, my favorite are from Gaiam you can find them either on their website or in the fitness section at Target or WalMart they have a good variety of styles and the teachers are good.

Today, I will
- look at what remains of my daughter's confirmation cake, and remind myself that uneven edges DO contain calories, and I must not obsess over straight lines.
- I will get in my 64+ oz of water/Crystal Light
- not snack after dinner. Even tho my snacks are 97.3% healthy and protein based, I don't NEED them after dinner! Just my fluids!
- read with my son, and enjoy every moment of his snuggly-ness while it lasts!
Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
