Are you living your best life?

Life is daily dealing us challenges and scenarios to react to. Do you react from your head or heart??? I ask you... are you living your best life and striving daily to "do the right thing?" This could be dealing with a person that is less than pleasant all the way to choosing the right food for you at that moment.   Are you feeding your body the best nutrients for it?   Are you surrounding yourself with people that are "feeding"  your heart and soul or just choosing a person that gives you satisfaction but no "nutrition" When we are faced with a right and wrong path.... do you always take the easy one? Today we need to challenge ourselves ..... dont take the easy way... try somthing out of the norm and see how good you feel tonight when you go to bed and say.. I did my very best today. :)

GF!!  You've taken the words RIGHT outta my mouth!! Just like WLS our personal choices must reflect THE BEST for our health!!!  In WLS we SHOULD chose to eat the healthy best for us (maybe not the eaisest, but BEST for us)!!!  Same goes with our personal lives!  Sometimes we are faced with choices that are hard but we need to make the BEST, RIGHT choice!! I just adore and cherish our friendship!!! THANK YOU MY DEAR!! WELL SAID

Thanks Linda, you are quite the beauty yourself.  I am struggling with this friend that really isnt a friend and I know I just need to cut her out of my life.  It is hard though, because I was a true friend to her, even though she wasnt to me.  I cherish my true friends, but I gues she just isnt one and I am better off without her.  She is like a potato chip...makes you feel good for a little while and then like crap afterwards...no nutritional value.

Also, today I have an appt to join the YMCA.  I am scared because I am so heavy.  I know I am going to look like a sweaty sausage, but I really need and WANT to do this.  I know I will feel better.

Naomi~Congrats on joining the YMCA!  Just remember that we all have to start somewhere and that most people will not look at you as "a sweaty sausage" but as someone who is getting healthy!  I was really self-conscious at first as well, but once I changed my mindset I enjoyed myeslf a lot more and now I love to workout!

Ya know what?  Take pride in the fact that YOU were a good friend and that we try to do things not for what we get back.  ( I know easier said than done ) Try to always give what you get..... I like the potato chip analogy.... good one LOL I have had some potato chips in my life as well !! People come into our lives and somtimes it ends up being a disapointment but it can also be a learning experience. So...pack yourself full of good stuff today !!    Yummy's and good people !!! AND DO NOT be afraid of the YMCA I guarentee there will be lots of body types there.. snaps to you for going outside your comfort zone. HUGS

Linda~  I think you make some very good points about what we think with.  Sometimes I find it hard to listen to my mind and eat the right/healthy foods when my taste buds are craving something not so good for me, but I am getting better everyday!  I am going to take this challenge and do my best today for both my physical health and my life.

Its a very unique food, it is good, but I learned that I can't eat a whole lot of it at once...which is a good thing.  I am definitely going to order some after pay day.  Have you tried the popped cheese that is like popcorn?
