Special Thanks to Amy & Kelly
I just wanted to publicly thank Amy (Diamondgirl) and Kelly (Adriannamae) for the unexpected gifts they had for me last night.
When we had coffee PRIOR to Lucy's leaving to meet Randall, Kelly took a photo of me and Bailey, my DD, at Starbucks (it's posted with her other profile shots). We've had our share of mother/daughter/teenage angst struggles in the past several months, but Kelly captured a pretty darn tender, snuggly moment we shared that night, put it in a beautiful frame and gave it to me last night. I'm not a very graceful person when it comes to accepting gifts, all I could do was hug her. But right now, I'm in tears just thinking about it - Kelly, I don't know if you realize how much that picture means to me. Not only because you were sweet enough to think of me and gift me with it, but because it is now on the wall between our bedrooms, to remind us BOTH that we really do love each other, even when we want to SCREAM!!! Seriously, that is one significant, meaningful picture, and an awesome frame you put it in, too. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!
And AMY, my dear, sweet, boob-squishing friend, had a gift for me as well, to celebrate my one year surgiversary on Sunday. That was SO not necessary - but SO APPRECIATED! She gave me a double picture frame - to put my before and after photos in. How thoughtful is that??? Amy, you ARE a beautiful, sparkly, priceless diamond, girl! Inside and out. Now I just have to work up the 'nards to actually print and DISPLAY a before picture! I never liked pictures of me before, I'm not sure I can come up with one I'm willing to put out there in a frame. But I will, to honor your gift. Maybe my PNC before shot? And although I don't consider myself to be "after" yet, maybe I will put in my 1 year shot once Barb sends it to me? (IF I like it...
) Being the social clod I am, I didn't notice the CARD in the bag until someone else pointed it out to me. And reading that card - oh **** here come the waterworks again. Amy, you are SO VERY PRECIOUS - not only to me, but to everyone here you have blessed with your support and knowledge. I so can not wait for YOUR TURN!!! You have my prayers that it all works out just the way you want it to!!!!
This place, the unbelievable friendships I've found - wow. Words just don't do it.

Darla,
You are so very welcome my friend............I could tell that this picture meant alot to you.
I've never said anything, but you were one of the first people to welcome me on this board and make me feel comfortable, I will never forget that. I've always been shy, but with all the support on here I'm coming out of my shell, and it's friends like you that are making it possible.
I enjoy are visits and laughs at coffee. I hope we can meet up sometime and go shopping in Albertville or somewhere. Your a fun person to be around, and so caring.
I have an article for Bailey, it was in my womens day magazine on PCOS. I'll give it to you on Saturday.
Love, Kelly

Well Ms. Darla, I love you - 'nuff said!
(and it will be fine if you choose to put a pic of Trav & Bailey in it instead, I just want you to know that...it was meant for your B&A pics but I can understand the feeling of leaving that person in the dust (before) and not being to your final goal (after), so give it some time and see how you feel in a few months about it maybe)
Ya know what? You are brilliant! and RIGHT. I don't particularly want to display the old me alongside the new me. Maybe in a tiny frame on my nightstand, as a reminder, but not in the beautiful frame you gave me! I like the Bailey & Travis idea way better, 'cuz they are my life! (Even when it feels like they'll be the death of me...
