Any hair dressers out there willing to help me!!

Okay, as many of you know I left my boyfriend last week, and it's been a little rough, but definately a blessing. It's the best thing I ever did for myself.

Now I am attempting to do what I want and need. One of them is basically giving myself an overhaul. I am taking better care of myself, I did my nails (both finger and toes, now that I can reach them!!) I am wearing Jewlry and perfume. I dyed the gray out of my hair this last weekend,and am now a blonde. and am taking a little more intrest in how I dress.

Here's the deal. I desperately want to get my hair cut and styled. But because of finances, I really can't afford it. Is ther anyone out there who can help me out? There is a style I have wanted forever, but never got. Since I am turning into me, not what someone else thinks should be me, I want to get it. Anyone willing to share their skills?

Sincwe you are living in Fridley, there is a cosmotology school on I think East River Road and 694.  You can go there and have your hair done for like $10 by a student who has been trained and is supervised by an instructor.  All hair dressers have to go through this forever watchful eye thing but the all do a FANTASTIC job.  Check it out -- they do hair, nails, facials, perms, color, etc. XXOO

Diane,  My daughter goes to Regency Academy on 113th and Central, and they are always looking for business.My daughter has actually gotten really good, and loves to work with my friends, and since we are both here, I think that makes us friends!! Diane, that address in the link Barb gave you is actually outdated. Regency closed at the Highway 10 location and opened a brand new gorgeous store/school off Highway 65 (the location Betsy gave you). Definitely go that route if you can as you are getting a cut/style at a great price and the student benefits, too. I can't wait to see the new 'do!
