OT: It's been a rough week!

We definitely could both use a drink!  Honey - you're so sweet to offer support when you're going through so much!  Like I said in my post - I can't imagine going through what you're going through - I certainly will keep you in my prayers.   I know your schedule is odd - so let me know when you might be available for a drink! Lucy,  It was SO good to meet the infamous LUCY.  I'm so sorry I wasn't in the best of spirits - but I really needed to be around all you wonderful ladies - it certainly helped my mood.  I'm so excited for you and Randle - it's so nice to hear that the relationship thing CAN work when it's with the RIGHT guy.  Good luck and Congrats to both of you! Tracy,  I've been so sad about Ella and have been thinking about it the past couple days.  Needless to say, you have both been in my prayers.  It was scary getting my house broken into, but if something had happened to Toby, I would have REALLY been upset.  I think the love we get and give our pets really helps us through some tough times.   It takes a very strong person to realize what's good in our lives and what isn't and to take the appropriate action.  We've done it with our weight and we can do it with our love lives as well.  I always think that as one door closes, another opens, and I look for the positive in all that's happened to me.  I know with your faith in the Lord, you have that strength and outlook as well.  I love ya girl and if you ever need a hug or an ear, you have my number. If you feel like Black Sheep on Friday for happy hour, let me know, I'm available. Love ya, Edi

Tracy, Sorry to hear about your bird!  It is tough to loose a pet.   Remember there is a reason for everything that happens in our lives.  There are more guys out there.  You will find the right one.   Sounds like ya need a big hug. Anita

I agree, everything happens for a reason.  God is testing me and my new found acceptance of my self.  Will I settle or will I stand up for what's best for me?  For so long I put others above my own happiness - right now is my time - I can only grow if I continue to do what's best for me.  So I take a lot of learning from both of these experiences, I put them behind me and I move on.   Thank you for your encouragement and kind words - it's these types of messages that help me get through.  Love ya girlie - and I'll take you up on that hug on Monday when we toast you off to surgery!
