Healthy Snacks
Okay, so after a month or so of struggeling with my snacking and well loosing to everything I have tried I think I may have found a good solution. I bought myself SF popsicles (the good kind from Edy's) and Genisoy White Cheddar Crispy Dippers. I went onto Genisoy's website and ordered some other healthy snacks since they don't have a lot of their products up here in the Midwest yet (at least that I can find). My reasoning is that their chip/crackers are a lot healthier than anyothers plus they are full of protien and then I can satisfy the need for something to crunch. I am really hoping that instead of always shaming myself for snacking and having that secret eating going on I can be proud of myself for making good choices. I am only 3 pounds away from hitting Onederland and so am really going to start pushing myself to keep on the straight and narrow!

Good for you! I love the Genisoy products - not necessarily all the flavors, but they do satisfy the craving for salty/crunchy! Sadly, it seems Cub has significantly down-sized the line... I may have to try their website!
Have you tried beef jerky? I LOVE beef jerky ... and the Just the Cheese snacks, which you can order on Amazon. Holler if you'd like to try them... will you be coming up to MG coffee tonight?

I am afraid of not being able to chew the beef jerky up well enough and it getting stuck so I haven't tried it yet. What are the Just the Cheese snacks, I don't think I have heard of or seen them around. I will be at MG coffee tonight what time I get there all depends on how bad the traffic is at 6:00. That's great to find healthy snacks that you enjoy and have the protein and health value you need. :) I like string cheese, a small palmful of roasted almonds, hard boiled eggs (I boil a few and have them ready in the fridge to grab and go), etc. to name a few favorites.
Onederland is just around the corner for you!!! How exciting!

I am thrilled to have found something to replace my cravings for chips/crackers that are actually good for me. I like roasted almonds as well, but I have to be in the mood for them. I used to eat string cheese all the time, but I haven't had any lately...good idea to add to my grocery list for next week. I am so excited I am hoping I will reach Onderland within the next week!
