Thanks Barb!  I feel so empowered....silly, I know...but still, I don't seem to get intimidated like I used to.  I am still me, but I am also, so NOT me anymore.  Who is this woman?  I hope she continues to get braver and laugh and live!  Yay for me.  (I think it's ok to toot my own horn once in a while - another new trait in me).  I got my hair done again, can't wait to get another picture taken to update my avatar. It just amazes me how much we all change, and watching people on the boards go from being shy and timid to bold and healthy and happy, makes me so thankful for WLS and for my friends on the board.

I think it is cool that you stepped up, regardless of the result.

Ah, the flowers are emerging and so are you! Life is grand. I think he is interested from what you've said. He's acting all goofy which is a sure sign. LOL I like Suzie's suggestion, put it on him and he knows your answer would be yes. Go get 'em girl!

Oh Debi, that is AWESOME!!!  I think you should take Susie's advice - tell him that he should let you know if he wants to get together sometime!  That puts the ball in his court, and like Susie said, he'll have the confidence then of knowing you'll be willing!  That's it, I vote Susie to be the MNOH Date Doctor!  Seriously, tho, maybe the reason he fumbled his way through the motorcycle explanation wasn't that he didn't WANT to go out with you, but was caught off guard and flustered to be asked out by such a beautiful woman!!!   Yup, that's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!!
