Hungry?
Hello,
I have a question for everyone. Today is the end of 7 months from my surgery. I had
week I have been very very hungry. I have really consentrated to see if it is head hunger.
And I don't think so. It's like my body is craving food. I haven't eaten anything bad. I just
crave protein and all the good things. But I have been on a stand still for 4 weeks. And I was
wondering if anyone else had experienced the hunger. It's the first time that my body
has wanted more food since I began this wonderful journey.
Can anyone relate?
Thanks
Jayne

I really can't say I've gotten any hunger back and I'll be a year out Sunday.
How much are you eating? PNC says 1/4 year = 1/4 cup, 1/2 year = 1/2 cup, 3/4 year = 3/4 cup, up to 1 year = 1 cup. It won't hurt you to eat a little more - looking at your ticker, you're darn near at goal anyway! I think we get so used to dropping a whole mess of weight so fast, that when our bodies rest and re-adjust, we bum out!
You have to feed your engine, or it'll hang on to what it's got. So as absolutly backwards as it sounds, at some point, we NEED to eat a little more to keep losing! (Wrap your brain around THAT notion!)
You're doing a fantastic job!
Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
I agree with Darla. Be sure you are measuring for everything and if you still don't lose, increase by 1/2 of the next measurement. And remember -- muscle weighs more than fat so it might be that you are gaining muscle mass -- no weight loss -- try measuring for inch loss.
You are doing great!!! Keep up the great job!!!
