Medicine recall
Thanks for the additional info. I am going to double check with my sister just to make sure she knows about this, but since my other sister is a pharmacuetical nurse who works in research I am assuming that she probably does. Good to know too for those who are fighting obesity without WLS and look to medications to help supress their appetite. Still it is scary stuff, to think I had no clue and could have been taking some of these things. Love & Hugs, Nicole
HI Nicole~
After our exchange last weekend, I emailed the contact name on the lead email. Yesterday I got a reply, which is below. I guess this is proof-positive about NOT forwarding everything that looks official without first checking it out!
Hi Sue,
This is what has happened although in some 3rd world countries these things may be being sold it is certainly not the case in the US Aus or NZ.
Thanks for checking.
Have a nice day

- Hide quoted text -Hello~ I received this email as a forward from someone who forwarded it from someone else, etc, etc. The FDA alert is from 2005, with no recent warnings on the FDA site. Is this product still a danger, or did someone dig up your email and decide the message was valid today? Thank you. Sue McEachern-----(from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada)
