Meatballs

Okay, so I am planning on bringing meatballs for the potluck at Swapkins, but I can't seem to figure out how I want to prepare them.  I know that in the past I would normally smother them in BBQ sauce, but I know that BBQ sauce has a lot of sugar in it so I am pretty sure that is a no go.  Then I thought about using marinara/spagetti sauce or getting a gravy mix.  Or should I just leave them plain?  Any ideas/suggestions would be much appreciated.  I just want to make sure I bring something people will like! Love & Hugs! Nicole

A couple of us recently discovered Sugar Free Teriyaki sauce made by Seal Sama.  Just pour over the meatballs and let them cook in it.  No sugar and it tastes absolutely delicious!!! XXOO

Byerly's -- so Lund's would probably have too.  But I haven't looked for it at Cub or Rainbow.  Because it is teriyako sauce, it is by the Chinese food -- soy sauce, etc.  Not with the marinades.  They have all kinds....fat free, sugar free (made with splenda), etc.  I just put the Simeks regular meatballs in the crockpot and pour the sauce over it and let it cook on slow for a couple of hours.  Serve with a vegetable and whallah -- protein (six meatballs is 14g of protein)!!!  A couple of meatballs and green beans on the side -- mmmmmmm.......
