I am so excited But I have a question... I am in a 14-16 now should i get rid of all my 16's.  I think I am scared that nothing will fit me.  Stupid I know.  But I have A few pairs of 16's that fit losely and saggy in the butt.  Why should I be so scared.  I feel like a little kid.  I know I don't have to be in 16's  gosh I don't want to keep them and then no one else can have them when I don't need to be in them.  does this even make sense or am I just the only one that thinks that.    please let me know what to do.......... sorry I am goofy today...

LOL but I think this is a GREAT problem to have, Marsha! I haven't been on that side yet, but I say get rid of 'em woman, you're not going back to that size so unless you're keeping them because they're comfy, then don't hang on.

You goofball !!!  Just get rid of them!!!!  There will be plenty of clothes to pick from that fit you.  And you need to grab the next size after that too ~~ believe me -- it WILL happen.  Then you can bring them all back to get the next sizes later this fall when you have shrunk out of them too. There will really cute 14's and 12's to pick from!!  I had A LOT of really cute things in the size 12 - 14 range I LOVED wearing.  But to go down a size and get new stuff -- sooooo worth it.  See you on Saturday with the 16's that are baggy and any other sizes larger than this that you still have.  Except for the before pair to put on at your 1 year anniversary  --- We'll hook you up with stuff that shows that new sexy bootie!!! LOSE THE 16'S, WOMAN!   Someone else can surely use 'em!  If some of them still fit you okay?  Well, hang on to those!  It seems the smaller the size, the broader the range.  I can still wear some 20's, but am able to wear MOST 18's.  I've heard that smaller women can wear a span of sometimes THREE sizes!  So don't obsess on the number, but on the fit.

Besides, there will probably be another SWAPKINS come fall - you can get rid of more then, when you'll probably be a 12 - or even * GULP * a 10!!! (Besides, my family thought it was kinda cool last year, so maybe if no one else claims it, we'll do another one up in Hanover... ) Now... put the clothes down, and walk away from the 16's.

Marsha~ I had the same question! my sister is shrinking these days too and my favorite Tommy jeans were a 16 and though i hadn't been wearing them cuz i'd been sporting the 14's she tried them on and they fit her.... after a week I finally reliquished them to her.. she needed them and I ain't going back into them ever again!  Can't wait to see you! Marsha, your doing so well!!!!  Those 16's are history;) GET rid of them you are a 14 and shrinking.  Live today not yesterday and give those 16's away for good.  Take that leap and if you should fall, pick your self up and we will all be there to support you. You are there! Troy

Hey Marsha, I laughed while reading your post.....because I could kind of relate.  I don't have a problem getting rid of the old jeans that are too big but hang on to the 2XL t shirts that I lived in.  This week I was doing some yard clean-up and almost killed my self with one fo those favorite (lime green) shirts.  I kept getting it caught on the wheelbarrow and branches on the pine trees.   I knew they were big but when I took a good look when I came in it was funny.  The shoulders hung down to my elbows and the length almost reached my knees.  What a fashion diva I was working in the yard.  ALL of my fav's are going to have new owners and I splurged on some new t-shirts that actually fit.  I'm even getting rid of some size 12 jeans (kinda big)  to be replaced with 10's.    OK Marsha.....I am giving up my old shirts and you need to part with your old jeans.  WE ARE NEVER GOING TO NEED THEM AGAIN!!!! You are doing so well and need to go get some new hot clothes at Swapkins girl! Bonnie
