Injured and Frustrated!!
Oh Honey! I am sorry! I have no advice but to pamper and take care of your foot first and fore most. Do what ever you can in the exercise department that won't hurt yout foot.

Been there, done that. Mostly in my teens - I had both of my ankles broken/severely sprained too many times to count, and had those lovely plaster casts twice on each foot! (4 casts in 5 years. I had a reputation for being a clod.
Well earned reputation, I might add...)
So just what the others have said - focus on upper body workouts, while allowing your ankle time to recover and heal. If you rolled it to the outside, one of the best things you can do for it (once you're okayed to start some PT), is to get a resistance band, place it around that ball part just below your pinky toe, and work on pulling upward and outward. Those are the muscles and ligaments that most need strengthening.
