First Day of Liquid diet

Well I just drank my first bottle of Boost for my liquid diet.  It isn't that bad...ask me in a few weeks though.  2 weeks till surgery!!  Which is just very hard to believe.  I am so waiting for the looser's bench.  Well off to work!  We will see if I feel like I am starving by the end of the day. Weighed myself this morning and my husband took my pics which I am going to do monthly fo awhile. Hope everyone has a good day!

Good luck today and for the next 14 days!  I'll be routing for you!!! Having pictures taken is a great idea.  I didn't do that and I really regret it. Debi

Anita, The first couple days are the hardest, so don't get down on yourself if you're feeling hungry, etc. Good luck, and before you know it you'll be on the "Loosers bench." Kelly

I heard the first 3 days are the hardest.  Luckily I work those days.  Then the weekends comes and I get to see so many fun and supportive people off of here!

Hey girl! You can do this liquid diet!  No problem!  You rock!  i bet you are so darn excited to get on with the surgery already!  Let me know if you need anything before surgery....or after!  I'd be glad to help! Jeanne

Anita, I agree with what someone else said that the first few days were the most difficult because you are trying to break all of the food additctions (espceically carbs) that your body craves.  I found SF popsicles to be my saving grace plus it gives you something to chew.  I know you will do great!  Stay strong and this two weeks will fly by and the next thing you know you'll be on the bench with us!
