It was an excellent and encouraging piece on WLS.  I feel all the more blessed to have been able to have this procedure after watching it. Michelle

Yeah -- a positive piece on WLS!!!  I'm hoping some who were on the wall about the surgery have decided to look into it.  Hoping that after watching the segment they are thinking -- WOW ~~ that's me and look at all it helps!!!

Lisa Joy!  Thank you SO much for telling us it was on the website.  I didn't get a chance to watch it and was glad I got to.  It was an excellent piece!  FINALLY!  They are always usually so negative.

I am so grateful that this show aired. I pray that some of the people that have been negative that I have encountered were also watching it! I do hope that they look at doing this to cure diabetes also! That would be so awsome for so many people!!!  I never knew that about cancer factor either!!! I felt like rejoicing that I was given this tool and I intend to make the most of it for the rest of my life!!!  Hooray for all of us!!!!  Bow Down Wave

Carol.................Like you, I have had some unusual looks and comments.....................hey, it may have started out with vanity but it sure changed to "health" at one point.  Have also encountered a bit of jealousy from a very old friend, but I feel for her.  She should consider this also for her health.  don't we feel just great and a bit of "smarty-pants" for not only doing this but having the courage too!  wahoo   Woohoo

YAY, Sharon!  You go, girl!  Your passion is delightful to see!  And I bet p99% of  us on this board will agree with you! How much did Linda Anne's success impact you? Would you have gotten it done if she had not?   Just curious... You are an awesome poster child for WLS!

Sue.....................good grief NO!  Linda blazed the trailand without her support (my hubby too) I would NEVER have had the nerve to do it.  Even tho I would just stare at the lapband ads!  You know, the lion.........hey, I'm a Leo!  I kid but this was one serious decision and I marvel at my dtr. and the other young women who still run their families and care for themselves after the surgery.  Wow!
