Thank you!  I still HATE to see pictures of myself.  I have yet to find one that I think looks good.  I was stalled for a short while but am losing again - just very slowly now.  But even though I'm not getting to my goal as quickly as I had wanted to, the fact that I'm not gaining gives me hope that I will be able to maintain once I reach goal.  ...Sorry...I didn't mean to ramble... This board has been a God-send to me.  The support and love and prayers that everyone is always so willing to give is just awesome!  I was out on the main board before someone told me about this one and there are some mean-spirited people on that main board.  I love to read all the positive and hopeful posts on this one.  And when you've been following someones life and story and then you get to see the fruit, AMAZING!!! I pray that this new position will be even more than you hope for!  You deserve the best! Long-distance hugs to you, Debi

Hey Deb-- You will eventually find a picture of yourself that you like!  Just hang on to the old ones--they're proof of your success.  There will come the time when you'll be glad to have the old ones, 'cuz people won't believe that you ever had a weight problem.   I carry in my wallet a picture of the 'old' me--at 285lbs--and people refuse to believe it really was me.  And I'm sooo thankful I don't look like that anymore. I agree on that this site is pretty wonderful! Makes ya glad to be a part of it! Thanks for the kind words. The folks here inspire hard work! (((HUGS)) to you! **SUE**

Thanks, Patti-tat-too! I thank God and my friends for their support on this grueling adventure! Old folks are so cool. I'm always fascinated by their life stories. What a wealth of knowledge and adventure most have in their past! And hey--love your pics of you and Lori in Vegas!  My son and I went last May for my niece's wedding.  OMG--you need a limitless credit card or a sugar daddy to really get out on the town!
